Dear God,
I know that I am not worthy to be accepted by you.
I don’t deserve your gift of eternal life.
I am guilty of rebelling against you and ignoring you.
I need forgiveness.
Thank you for sending your son to die for me
that I may be forgiven.
Thank you that he rose from the dead
to give me new life.
Please forgive me and change me,
that I may live with Jesus as my ruler. Amen

Hi Phillip,
I am preaching on Isaiah 53 this week.
I am working now with Anglicare at Castle hill in pastoral care. Was retrenched from CMS due to lack of funds in 2020.
( yes and as I write that, I remembered you were a major player in my life direction both at UNSW in 1979 and at the cathedral in 2002 when you told me to flee)
Anyhow, I just watched this talk and am so encouraged and resource to talk to my 85-102 year olds this Friday. The pirate in particular will be so easily understood by these peeps.
