An edited audio version of Week 6, Term 2 of Forum 2023. Forum is a 2 hour session of interactive Bible teaching for 18-30 year olds.
The various ways of understanding how Christ died for our sins discussed are:
- Christus victor – defeats sin death and Satan
- Exemplar – Giving a moral example of sacrificial love
- Ransom – paying the price to redeem the slaves of sin
- Expiation – meeting the demands of justice
- Propitiation – turning aside the anger of God
